Change the priority order of wireless network connection in Windows 10

The command in step 2 of option 2 should display your wireless networks listed in order of priority.

Wireless net

Thanks for trying the steps again. Now it is clear that the problem is with your router. To reconnect the notebook to the network, we recommend that you set or specify the channel of your wireless network. If you have access to the router’s user interface, set

channel to channel 1, 6 or 11. When finished, remove the WIFI network from the list of preferred networks and reconnect.

Let us know the result.

Regards.

Vista or XP?

You have to go in and delete the network. It will then pick it up again and ask you to re-enter the key.

In Windows Vista, you do this by going to the Network and Sharing Centre. Click Customize, then click Merge or remove network locations. Find your router’s SSID in the list and delete it.

On XP I believe you have to go to Network Connections and then right click on the wireless adapter. Go to Status and there should be a Manage Wireless Networks button which should take you to where you need to remove the network.
